The Success Story Of Robert Puddy

The other day I sent an email to Robert Puddy about a claim he had made. He said that his first site got 20,000 members in it’s first 18 months. That’s over 1000 members a month.

So I asked, and this is what he replied…

Ok, you’re dying to know – what is the Massive action I took that created this kind of Massive Income? Its one thing :

Free Membership Sites.

My very first site had 20,000 members in 18 months – many of them purchased the upsells. It still pulls in a massive $6900/month. And the secret to a membership base like that? The members grew it for me.

Thats just what LFM allows you to do – integrate the membership site concept with viral affiliate techniques to build an entire income stream on autopilot. It literally allows you to write your own ticket – and let your paying customers do the work for you. What could be better than that?

The logical next step with this business is to create another site – obviously. So, thats just what I did – and another membership site sprung up. In only 6 months, it is bringing in $1,346 each and every month from 200+ members, and still growing.

After two years of building these sites I’m making a massive $22,822.00 each and every month from these sites, and its still growing. And my next membership site will increase that number even more. $275,000 per year is nothing to shake a stick at – that is some serious profit!

Now I must say, Robert is a freakin genius, but he’s not too web savvy. :)

Robert did all of this with a script he had built for himself that he now sells to others. It’s the LFF Script at www.LFMScript.com

I have used this very script on several websites, and it works incredibly.

You use is for your marketing system, put in some affiliate tools, and BAM! you’ll see it start growing as quick as Robert’s did.

How would you like to be making $275,000 a year with a few sites?

Learn how at www.LFMScript.com

P.S. I’ll be creating a site called My3Secrets.com in a few months. This site will feature interviews from big time success players in Internet marketing. Maybe I can get Robert to do an interview if enough of my readers request it. Just hit the comment button and ask Robert right here to do it. :)

Hub Pages and Squidoo Lens And Blogs Oh My!

No, this isn’t the Wizard Of Oz (my favorite movie in the whole world by the way), it’s Internet marketing. Okay Web 2.0 marketing, or maybe it’s article marketing. :)

To put it simply creating content pages on social sites to spread my marketing messages around and get backlinks.

I don’t do enough of this much anymore, so it’s time to get back to doing more “message spreading” than just relying on joint venture partners. Don’t get me wrong. Thats still my number 1 way to get traffic to my product sites, but it’s time to start doing more again.

I’m going to be creating a daily marketing plan for each of my sites, and using this part of my blog to report what I’m doing. Now I may not post every day what I’m doing because that would just be posting the same information, but I do want to tell you what I did today to promote my new site www.MyVideoCashMachines.com

This site teaches you how to use video marketing to make affiliate cash. Find a product to promote as an affiliate, use video marketing the way I teach you, and you’ll make money.

Simple right? It is…

So to start promoting this site (by the way it does have a 100% commission affiliate program at myvideocashmachines.com/?action=affsignup) I had 15 articles written on 3 different keywords. 5 articles per keyword. I took 3 of those articles (all focused on one keyword phrase) and submitted them to EzineArticles.com and GoArticles.com

Those are basically the only two that I submit articles to anymore. Why? Because they give me the most traffic. Submitting to hundreds of article directories just isn’t working anymore, so I want to put my time where I’m getting something in return.

After submitting those 3 articles, I created a Squidoo Lens at www.squidoo.com/fastestwaytomakemoney with 1 article and a Hub Page at hubpages.com/hub/fastestwaytomakemoney with another article.

I created both of these pages with original content. I think that’s key to success with these sites.

Now I’m off to read…

1. Hub Page Cash Machine – www.ThisKicksButt.com/HubPageCashMachine
2. Ultimate Squidoo – www.ThisKicksButt.com/UltimateSquidoo

To get a better education on using Squidoo and Hub Pages.

Over the next few days I will take the other 10 articles (5 on another keyword phrase related to video marketing and the other 5 on yet another keyword phrase related to article marketing) submit 6 to the article directories and use the other 4 to make 2 more squidoo lenses, and 2 more hubpages.

I’ll update you, when I have done this, so you can see some examples of how you can be doing the same thing.

So far the new marketing list for this site looks like this:

1. Article marketing
2. Hub pages
3. Squidoo lenses

Once all of this is done, I’m also going to be testing eBay classified ads. I read Auction Classifed Cash (www.ThisKicksButt.com/AuctionClassifieds) and want to test it out. :)

All coming soon, and a ton more.

Point of this post?

To show you that marketing is about doing several things to get traffic to your site. There may be 10 things that you do, and maybe 4 of those you’ll do on a daily basis, but you’ve got to make a plan, test to see what works, and keep what works on a “to do” list. :)

What’s Your Web 2.0 Game Plan?

Today, this post is all about using Web 2.0 tactics to really drive the traffic to your site. Since I came across Jack Humphrey (who is the king of blog marketing)a few months ago, I have literally been hooked on this web 2.0 stuff. Why? Because it’s an easy way to drive targeted traffic. Master it and use it each day, and you don’t have to pay for traffic, get other people to send you traffic or anything like that.

There are many web 2.0 traffic generation tactics, and you just need to find which ones work for you, how they work, and setup up a system to work them. There’s a kick butt post called “7 Tips For Making A Web 2.0 Blog Post” at www.seofeed.com/web_2_seo/7-tips-for-making-a-web-20-blog-post that will give you a good solid plan to get started with.

Take a look at that, put it to work and enjoy the traffic. Continue your education with web 2.0 strategies, and you can constantly add to your plan for even more traffic.

Since I run so many content sites, I’ve actually hired someone to do nothing but web 2.0 traffic tactics for all my content sites. For my sites I have that are marketing related, I’m even using web 2.0 traffic tactics for them. It’s been nice not having to harass JV partners day after day, or pay for advertising. My web 2.0 traffic tactics have kept sales coming in.

Now let me say that with your Internet marketing related sites, you wont want to JUST rely on web 2.0 traffic. If it weren’t for my JV partners, I wouldn’t make about 70% of the money I make, so never put all your eggs in one basket.

With my Adsense sites, I use web 2.0 traffic and article marketing, and that’s the same for my niche sites that I sell niche info products from. Yep, for those of you that don’t know, I actually dabble outside of Internet marketing too. IM is where my passion is though, so it’s where I do most of my “stuff”. :)

By building sites that are optimized for the search engines, and using a well planned out traffic strategy, you should have no problem getting traffic to your site. Check out the link I gave you above, make a post to your blog and follow it, and then immediately go out and find one more web 2.0 traffic strategy that you can add to it. Everytime you post, add one more, and pretty soon, you’ll have a truck load of visitors coming to you!

Will The Real Liz Tomey Please Stand Up?

Wow… I can write posts all day long about how to make money online… how to make more money from your business… and on and on… Now so many people have asked me some personal questions about myself, and I really find myself at a loss for words here.

I mean… I teach Internet marketing… Why would anyone want to know about me?

Well, was recently listening to Tom Beal speak. I was reviewing The 7 Figure Code ( www.ThisKicksButt.com/7FigureCode ) and knew Tom was heavily involved in at (I was at the live event BTW), I have been in a mastermind group with him, and consider him a friend. However, I had never heard him speak…

I was really blown away. That’s a total other blog post… :)

But Tom said something during his presentation that really resinated with me.

He said that success leaves footprints.

Really think about that for a minute…

In every episode of Scooby Doo what do they look for to solve the mystery?

Foot prints of course…

So when you’re trying to solve the mystery of success you should find someone that is achieving the success you want, and follow in their footsteps.

Watch what they do and do it…

Hang out with the people they do…

Do the things that they do…

Go the places they go…

Each step you take, make sure that you’re putting your foot exactly where they did.

So for those of you who are looking for my footprints to follow me to success, I’m going to put them right here before you…

Now I know you guys want personal information, but most of you just want the meat of what has made me successful.

So, for those of you who want to know the real non-business Liz, here’s a very short and sweet story for you….

I was born to two teenagers in 1979 in Indianapolis, IN. They were divorced when I was a little over a year old, and my mother and I lived with her mother my Grandmother. I was very very close with her and she died when I was 5. At the same time I was very close to my father’s parents (my mamaw and papaw) who thank God are are still with me to this day.

After the passing of my Grandmother my mother met a man and married him and we moved to Chattanooga, TN. I had an awesome childhood full of love from my mom, step-dad, and grandparents.

I spent each and every summer growing up in Indiana with my grandparents. They had 6 kids and treated me as there 7th. They actually do to this day.

Between my mom, step-dad, and grandparents I was always told I was the best at everything, and there was nothing in this world I couldn’t do. Again, to this day they all with the exception of my step-dad (who hasn’t been around for about 15 years now) still tell me this. :)

When I was 15 my mother and step-dad divorced, and my world was turned upside down.

If you’ve ever had and raised a teenager girl, you know they are the devil to begin with. Throw in a divorce and they go absolutely insane.

That’s just what I did…

My mother lost total control of me, and I became mad at the entire world. I turned to drugs (LOTS OF THEM), and took off traveling the country.

Looking back on it all, a lot of bad things happened, but some key things stuck with me and some key people stood beside me.

My family never gave up on me, so I had an amazing support system.

I had to grow up fast on my own, so I developed a take charge get it done attitude.

Now you should get some footprints from that.

They are…

1. Get yourself a support system – It could be friends, family, a mastermind group online. Whatever it is, get yourself a support system. That was on of my first foot steps. Yes it came automatic, but if you don’t have a support system get one.

2. Next it’s survival of the fittest in everything in life – Until I was on my own, I had never stood on my own two feet. I had never had to do anything myself. I threw myself into the real world, and it was the best thing that ever happened to me.

So my first two steps here are a support system, and I grab things by the throat, shake the heck out of them, and make it work for me.

Now let’s talk about exactly what I did to become successful…

After a few years wandering the country I finally came home… My mom asked what my plans where and I told here… “Well I don’t like to be told what to do, and I don’t want to be a “working chump”, so I’m going to start my own business.

And with a smile mom said… “Good for you! I know you’ll do well.”

So the years went on, I left the drugs behind, and met a man who I married and had my son Logan with. Thank goodness before Logan came along I had already established a business. My first business was a direct mail advertising business.

I put together promotional direct mail campaigns together for people, and sold them advertising. I had several services I offered, so I started selling “dealerships” to others. They could buy a “dealership” promote my offers and keep half the money for every order they got. Then they’d send the other half the money along with the order and I’d fill the order.

That business did very well… I grew it to about a $60K a year business and in this part of the country that’s pretty decent money.

After divorcing my first husband I married the love of my life whom I’m still married to (any by the way came with four extra kids :) ) we found ourself in a bit of a pickle.

He (Jamie) had been laid off from his job. This was 2004. We lived in a small town of about 800 people so you can imagine that there wasn’t much work to be found.

I for the second time in my life said… I’ll start a business…

I had Jamie take over the direct mail advertising business, and I began my search online for my next business…

Okay, heads up time…

Now this is where real success starts…

The first thing I did when I got online was to look at what other people were doing successfully. No reason to reinvent the wheel, right?

I found a ton of people selling ebooks and doing really well with it.

So I decided that’s what I would do…

There’s footprint #2…. Find what others are doing and follow them.

I was in a lot of Internet marketing forums at the time and saw a lot of people talking about joint ventures. It seemed cool to me…

The two main ways I saw joint ventures being done was people finding other people to promote their products, and people coming together creating products together.

So I decided that I would create a product not only about the topic, but also use joint ventures to create the product, and get others to create it for me.

So I had about 15 people I went to from the forums, asked questions about joint ventures, and then contacted them to ask them if I could use their answers in my product, and they all said yes. :)

After the product was done, I asked if they would promote the product. All but one said yes…

In two weeks that product brought in $37,000

Oh did I mention that it took me 6 months to get everything figured out, and during that time we were falling behind on ALL our bills. The repo man was literally calling the house asking when to come and get our only vehicle, and we were one month away from forclosure on our house?

Yeah it wasn’t a bed of roses, but I did it, and so can you…

So my other footprints to success here were…

… Find what others are successfully doing online
… Do it my way and get it out there

If you’ve made it this far in this post congratulations because what I just revealed to you is ALL related to my success.

I had an amazing support system, I believe in and live by “do or die”, I studied what worked, I put it into place for myself, and I have had more success than I have ever dreamed of.

I hope you’ll do the same!

So there you go… The real Liz Tomey right here in black and white. Like the song says… “You should have seen it in color”…

To your success!

Liz Tomey
