Yesterday my buddy Ken McArthur made a post that really touched me, and reminded me why I think so highly of Ken.

Now Ken is a marketer just like I am. I’m not afraid to admit that every time I writer and article, create a blog post, give out a free report, or any other marketing activity that I do it’s for one purpose.

To generate sales.

This might come as a surprise to you…

I’m a marketer, and that means…. Are you ready for this shocking news?

I market.. I sell.. I educate to sell… It all leads to the sell.

Does it mean that I don’t care?

Absolutely not!

Here’s the honest truth…

If I didn’t care, I could just hit you with hard sell after hard sell. Instead I work my butt off to bring you incredible information. Shouldn’t I be paid for that?

Let’s say that I write a blog post about creating a website. With that post, I tell you about a product that will help you learn to create a website. The content in that post finally “turns the lights on for you”, you buy the product, and actually start making money.

Now am I bad for sharing that information, and helping you even though I promoted a product within that post?

That’s for you to decide…

However, if you think that makes me some the big bad wolf, then quit reading what I teach, and go get on a marketer’s list that does nothing but send promo after promo to you.

Harsh? Yep, but there are a few people out there that need to be grabbed by the shoulders and shaken until they finally get it.

Keep reading everything you can from people. Learn and implement. For the love of God quit bitching about who’s doing this or that.

Create your own income with what you learn, and lead by example just as I do.

Ken McArthur is someone I have met only a few times. However each time, it’s been a great experience. Ken is one of the most amazing men I’ve ever met. He truly cares about people, excepts them for who they are, and wishes that he had millions of hands to reach out to everyone he can.
