You know, it?s much easier to build good relationships, build evangelists and have them help you market/sell your product/service! Sure it might require that you give a lot of yourself (and knowledge) over and over again and often times for free? But when they evangelize, boy do they evangelize and refer people to you almost without even thinking about it! And that?s?well, that?s just magic.

Hey Nick,

Yep there's lots of asses out there. I hate it so bad for you guys who are trying to buy GOOD things to help you in your business. However this post was for those on the other side. The asses that just want everything for free. :)

Too many people out there have gotten too good at copywriting and don't have the same quality in their products. I bought a $47 program that was supposed to increase traffic to my site. You know what it was? An outdated ebook on how to use Squidoo, a 4 year old ebook on how to use Craigslist which was rendered useless by Craig's List implementation of PVAs, and a collection of YouTube how to videos. Not to mention, ALL of these products were PLR. I know that because I already had them from a massive PLR service that I purchased. I asked for a refund from that guy. However, the PLR service I paid good money for and never went for the refund because it was a great product that obviously took a lot of work.

But that guy who was selling the outdated stuff REALLY pissed me off. And there are a lot of sheisters out there.

I actually had to stop using ClickBank for one of my products. While I understand people are in tight spot with money sometimes but when you offer something of value for a low price and then see INCREDIBLE number of people not only refunding instantly after purchase but also HUGE number of people buying through their own link - make one discouraged.

Whatever happened to honesty?

Great point Liz and it's about time Clickbank started to crackdown on these serial refunders,... although having said that my average refund rate from all the CB affiliate products I promote is less than 3%, so like you say,... most buyers are definitely honest. ;0)

All the Best,

Glad as hell they're cracking down at last, but I think your analysis of the person is slightly unfair. Presuming they tell the truth, they're the same as me.

I refund a sizable percentage (25% round abouts) of the training programs I buy, not because I'm short of money, but because I'm consistently shocked at the BS people push out and claim is "brand new".

I take action on any and ALL good ideas I get (or buy), but when they're mis-sold to me under the guise of something else, I'll make it known with the company processing the payments and have NO sympathy for the seller.

Rather like the person in the e-mail though, I also agree you produce good stuff. Muhahahaha. :D

Hi, Liz...

There have been a few products that I bought from a CB vendor and realized that it either (1) stunk or (2) it really wasn't something that I wanted. Sometimes, it's just not a "good fit"... but you won't actually know that until you download it and read it.

I just don't want that to happen to my products so I am making SURE that my sales letters are clear and real (as are the testimonials).
