I just know I LOVE being here!

There’s a lot I want to do here, but so much is up in the air that I’m not sure what path I’ll take. More on those paths later…

However as always, there will be lots of traveling and lots of eating!

It’s all already started…

I’ve crossed the border by plane, I’ve crossed the border by walking across, and this time I did it via bus. 30+ hour trip from Atlanta, GA to Monterrey, Mexico.

Let’s just say that from now on it will be by plane. 😂 The only other way is by boat, and I did that years ago on a cruise, so I have ticked all the boxes of travel and will now ONLY be doing this by plane.

30+ hours on a bus was grueling. My body still hurts! I feel 46 for sure! 😂

I didn’t get to try any new foods in Monterrey as I was only there for about a day and a half.

They have two tacos I haven’t tried… Tacos de cabrito (Google defines it as “kid goat”, but others say it’s actually the meat from a ram. Looking at the word the cabra (goat) with ito added to the end means little so I’m going to go with it’s the meat of a kid goat.)

The other taco I wanted to try is tacos de trompo which to me looks similar to tacos al pastor which is my absolute favorite taco. They are also made on a “trompo” but with different sauces and seasoning.

Again, I’ll have to experiment with those next time… I’m currently planning a trip to return there and see A LOT of things I missed, so I’ll update you on that later. What I DID see I’ll be posting on Facebook soon.

I am now at my main destination for now in Huejutla, Hidgaldo. Usually I go to Morelia, Michoacan and I still have my apartment over there, but I’m trying something new this time.

More on that later…

Right now, I’m focused on 2 things…

1. Seeing things here in Hidalgo and in the neighboring states… Veracruz, San Luis Potosi, Mexico (Yes there’s a state in Mexico named Mexico. It’s actually the state where Mexico City is.), and probably a few others too.

I’m staying in a tiny pueblito that the indigenous people fought the Mexican government for. They are (from what I understand) self-governed so they can live their lives in their own traditional ways.

I’ll be talking a lot about this because it’s pretty cool. I’m still learning so more on all of that later.

2. And of course laser focused on business stuff… It will be business as usual! I’m going to be taking a bit more time away from the computer to explore and experience this side of Mexico, but I will be working almost daily.

So, you’re fully up to date… Another crazy “Liz Tomey adventure” has started and I’m doing this all WHILE running an online business.

The biggest takeaway I want you to get from these kinds of updates is this…

You can live any kind of life you want when you put in the work to create your own online business.

My online business gives me…

1. The opportunity to help others with the products and services I create.

2. The money to pay all the bills and help others who need it (yes, I’m big on donations in many forms).

3. The freedom to see the world when I want and how I want.

That to me is an amazing life… It might be something different for you, but it all starts by getting that online business started to fund the life you truly want.

And that’s why you and I have crossed paths! So I can share with you how to do it…

Okay, that’s it for today…

Today I am focused on work. I’m staying inside, watching old reruns of 80s sitcoms in the background while working! (This is the only way I can focus.
